Decorah- May V. Akre, 57, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 1994, in Oneota Riverview Care Facility after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Big Canoe Lutheran Church, rural Decorah. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fjelstul Funeral Home and one hour before service time Monday at the church.

Survivors include two sisters, Sarah and Neva Emery, both of Decorah; and three brothers, Vernon Emery of Decorah, Melvin Emery of Chatfield, Minn., and Floyd Emery of Omaha, Neb.
