Calmar- Nora Vondersitt, 66, died Saturday in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah, after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the French Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish Scripture service at 8 p.m.
Surviving are her husband, Joe; a son, Tim of Calmar; two daughters, Mae Jean Becker of Ossian and Ruby Helgerson of Waterloo; and two brothers, Paul Cremer of New Hampton and Leander Cremer of Calmar.

Nora Agnes Vondersitt
Nora Agnes Vondersitt, 66, of Calmar passed away October 27, 1990 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital of cancer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 30, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church in Calmar. Rev. Robert Hirsch officiated. Deb Scheidel was pianist and Clark Goltz was soloist The St. Aloysius Adult Choir also sang.
Pallbearers were nephews, Gerry Rothmeyer, Duane Rothmeyer, Randy Rothmeyer, John Cremer, Don Cremer, Charles Gebel.
Nora Cremer Vondersitt was born December 11, 1923, the daughter of John and Mathilda (Holthaus) Cremer. She received her education at St. Mary’s School in Festina.
On June 9, 1948 she married Joe Vondersitt at St. Aloysius Church. They became the parents of three children.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Alfred, Francis, Greg, and Vic; and two sisters, Rita and Marie.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mae Jean Becker, Ossian and Ruby Helgerson, Waterloo; and one son, Tim Vondersitt, Calmar; and two brothers, Leander Cremer, Calmar and Paul Cremer, New Hampton.
Mrs. Vondersitt was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.
