Ossian- Margaret F. Meyer, 86, of Sterling, Ill., formerly of Ossian, died Wednesday afternoon in her home after a short illness. She was a nurse at Sterling Rock Falls Clinic and previously she and her husband owned and operated Meyer Funeral Home in Sterling.

Surviving are a son, Louis of Carrollton, Texas; a sister, Marie Wolf of Sterling, Ill.; and a grandson.

Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis De Sales Cemetery, Ossian. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Grennan's, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. rosary. Memorials to the church.
