Mr. I. A. Courtney, received a card today announcing the death of Mrs. E. D. Beard of Decorah, last Saturday. Mr. Beard and family have the sympathy of his friends and neighbors in Chester.

Transcriber's Note: Cemetery records indicate Mrs. Beard was Mary S. (Adams) and was born January 16, 1851. Also cemetery records show her husband was Edward L. (not D.)
