Decorah- Allen D. Lien, 56, died Wednesday in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Decorah Lutheran Church. Burial: Freeport Cemetery, rural Decorah. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Fjelstul Funeral Home, where an IOOF memorial service begins at 7, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Mary; a daughter, Diane Thompson of Clarion; a brother, Gerald of Waterloo; and three sisters, Lorraine Scholl of Decorah, Ethel Deck of Cedar Rapids and Barbara Burreson of Hopkinton.
