Decorah- Thea G. Stone (Submitter's note: my investigation into Thea's gravestone inscription and her husband Walter's obituary indicates that "Stone" is a misprint, the correct surname is Stoen) , 83, died Thursday in Barthell Eastern Star Nursing Home.

Survivors include three sons, Harold of Spring Grove, Minn., Darrell of Decorah, and Ronald of Des Moines; two brothers, James Amundson of Hayfield, Minn., and Norman Amundson of Monona; two sisters, Ellen Ellingson of Decorah, and Thelma Overholt of La Crosse, Wis.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Big Canoe Lutheran Church, rural Decorah. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Fjelstul's and one hour before service time Saturday in the church.
