Decorah- Duane R. Engelhardt, 58, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, in his home after a 3 1/2 year illness with melanoma cancer. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Decorah Lutheran Church. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, and after 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Jeff of Carlisle and Brian of Readlyn; his mother, Mabel Schutte of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; his father, Melvin of Mabel, Minn.; a sister, Viola Goluba of McHenry, Ill.; two half brothers, Harry Schutte Jr. and Marlin Schutte, both of Monona; and two half sisters, Barb Barth and Kathy Rosendahl, both of Decorah.
