Decorah- George Brueckner, 81, died Sunday in Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, following a short illness.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Dyersville and William of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Elise Brueckner and Ruth Arens, both of Dyersville, and Celeste Keays of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, John of Dyersville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at French's, where a parish Scripture service will be at 8 p.m.
