Decorah- Dorothy Simpson, 83, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in Barthell Eastern Star Nursing Home following a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, First United Methodist Church, by the Rev. James Dale. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

There are no immediate survivors.
