Decorah- Raymond Elmer Holt, 71, of Bowling Green, Fla., formerly of Decorah, died Saturday in his home following a long illness. He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Cheryl of Hilo, Hawaii, and Caron Hash of Indianapolis: a son, Lynn of Hilo; a brother, Douglas of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, June Chaffin of Hamilton, Mont., Catherine Eggan of Aurora, Colo., and Ethel of Cheyenne, Wyo.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at Bowling Green. The body will be cremated.
