Elaine Klimesh, age 77, of Fort Atkinson, IA, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, IA, with Rev. Nick March presiding.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, Chekal Chapel, Fort Atkinson, IA

Elaine “Mishka” is survived by her husband, Robert Klimesh, Fort Atkinson, IA. Five children: Barb Exey, Decorah, IA; Debbie (Jeff) Larson, New Hampton, IA; Bill (Karla) Klimesh, Protivin, IA; Steve (friend, Kaiya Kriener) Klimesh, Fort Atkinson, IA; and Julie (Eric) Houdek, New Hampton, IA. Grandchildren: Jacob Exey, Angela (Paul) Amundson, April (Sean) Singewald, Emily Larson, Ben Larson, Jamie (Jake) Heisler, Robert Klimesh, Kyle Klimesh, Calvin Klimesh, Haley Klimesh, Andrew Klimesh and Caitlin Houdek. Four great grandchildren: Sam and Josi Singewald and Jace and Jaelynn Heisler. Friend, Karter Kriener. One sister: Blanche (Ron) Jirak, Protivin, IA. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Arnold Wiest, Fort Atkinson, IA; John (Mary) Klimesh, Decorah, IA; Ann (Bill) Lynch, Hokah, MN; and Theresa (Chuck Humphrey) Humphrey-Klimesh, Frankville, IA; and Marilyn Klimesh, Cedar Rapids, IA; along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents: William and Celia Doubek. One sister: Betty Wiest. Granddaughter: Kristina Klimesh. Great grandson: Jayden Heisler. One brother-in-law: Jim Klimesh. Step-Father: William Mihm.
