Decorah- Ella V. Nicholson, 101, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 22, 2002, in Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Steven Jacobsen. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Fjelstul Funeral Home, Decorah, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Muriel Wheatman and Eileen Nordheim; and a brother, Elmer Rognlien, all of Decorah.
