Decorah- Ellen Peterson, 76, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, after a short illness. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Decorah Lutheran Church. There will be no visitation. Her body was donated to the University of Iowa.

Survivors include three sisters, Angeline Roney and Margaret Wikan of Decorah and Irene Myrah of Fort Collins, Colo.
