Ossian- Esther L. Schroeder, 82, died Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Surviving are a son, Willard Holien of Ossian; three sisters, Beatrice Lansing of New Hampton, Louise Thompson of Albert Lea, Minn., and Elsie Gordon of Charles City; two brothers, Hiller Holien of Chatfield, Minn., and Henry Holien of Pine City, Minn.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ossian Lutheran Church. Burial: St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. today at Schmitz's, and an hour before the services at the church.
