Jesse James Cornelison, West Union, Iowa, August 18, 2014

Jesse James Cornelison, 32, of West Union, Iowa died Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in West Union, Iowa. He was born on June 3, 1982 to Kenneth and Dorothy (Willis) Cornelison in Wichita Falls, Texas. Jesse was raise by his grandparents, (Ma & Pa) Richard and Beulah Fadness. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa. Jesse attended John Kline School in Decorah and graduated from Charles City High School.

Jesse was a clerk at the Treasure Chest in New Hampton for many years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. He loved camping and race cars. Jesse took a big fishing trip with friends near Canada. He participated in the Special Olympics and was a great helper to “Ma”.

Jesse is survived by his grandparents, Richard and Beulah Fadness of West Union, Iowa; his mother, Dorothy Boice of Decorah, Iowa; his brothers, Kenneth and Chad Cornelison, both of Waukon and his sister, Josie Cornelison of Texas.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Cornelison and his maternal grandfather, Robert Goecke

Visitation will be on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, Iowa with Rev. Steve Brackett as the Officiant

Burial will follow at the Frankville Cemetery, Frankville, Iowa.

Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Postville, Iowa is helping the family with the arrangements.
