Final Rites Held For Mrs. Waters
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Frankville Presbyterian Church for Mrs. C. H Waters. Who passed away at Salina, Kansas, May 21. The final rites were conducted by Rev. Walter T. Martin of the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville. Mrs. Waters passed away at the Ashbury Hospital Salina Kansas, May 21, 1949 at the age of 67 years. Born At Frankville Edith Van Wey Waters, daughter of Cornelius and Catherine Maria Van Wey was born September 14, 1881 at Frankville. She was married to C. H. Waters on April 8, 1903; at Decorah. Mrs. Waters is survived by her husband, one son, Kenneth Wesley, Des Moines, one brother Bert Van Wey, of Sac City, two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Spaun? of Frankville and . Mrs. Emma Peck of Waterloo. A daughter died in infancy and a son Maxwell Merwin, preceded her In death in 1930.ŠPostville Herald Wednesday, June 1, 1949
