Margaret 'Maggie' Kellison

Margaret "Maggie" Irene Kellison, 60, of Hiawatha, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, with Rev. T. Edwards Breed officiating.

Burial was in the Shiloh Cemetery, Hiawatha.

Maggie Kellison was born Aug. 6, 1944, the daughter of Elmer and Eva Erickson Engbretson, in Decorah.

November 30, 1968, she was united in marriage to Virgil Kelli-son in Moline, Ill.

She was a bookkeeper for Nash Finch grocery stores for 30 years, and was an active member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.

She enjoyed fishing, bowling, NASCAR, reading and helping other people.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil; three sons: Michael (Lisa) Kellison of Marion; Donald (Karleen) Kellison of Appleton, Wis., and Randy (Deb) Kellison of Cedar Rapids; five brothers: Eldon (Lois) Thompson of Cedar Rapids; Robert Engbretson of Marion; Kenneth Engbretson of Cedar Rapids; Richard (Sharon) Engbretson of Jesup and Lyle (Beth) Engbretson of Charlotte, N.C. eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Margaret "Maggie" Kellison was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Helen Gillespie and her in-laws, Donald and Virginia Kellison.
