Henry G. Severson

Henry G. Severson passed away Saturday, May 26 at his home here after a long illness. He was born in this county March 7, 1873, and for a number of years had been a resident of Decorah, conducting a restaurant here for a long period. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gunder Severson. He was united in marriage to Nellie Severson who survives him. Five children also survive, Hartvick, George, Norman, Ruth and Ruby. One son, Arthur, passed away. A number of brothers and sisters also survive. Henry Severson was a fine man, well liked by everybody, as he had a sunny disposition and was always square and honorable. He was a good father and a good friend. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the United Lutheran church, Rev. O. Glesne officiated and interment was in the Norwegian cemetery.
