Postville Review, Sat., 21 March 1891.

We understand that the old lady Smith, of Castalia, is dead. She was well known in Postville religious circles, having taken great interest in revival and other christian work here. We are without particulars as to her sickness and death.

Note: This item may be a reference to Eliza J. Smith. WPA records show Eliza J. Smith 12-25-1814 / 3-20-1891 as buried in Bloomfield cemetery. The Iowa Gravestone Photo Project shows a photo of her gravestone. Researchers will need to verify.
