Mrs. Reum, of Decorah, was instantly killed last Monday evening. She was sitting in a carriage, talking with a lady friend, when the horse became frightened and gave a sudden spring forward, throwing her out backward. Her head struck the ground and her neck was broken. It was her son who was recently negotiating for the Beucher meat market here.
