Mrs. Arnold Erland

Mrs. Arnold Erland of near Spillville, died at the Decorah hospital Tuesday evening, Dec. 10, after a long illness. The funeral was held at the Erland home on Saturday afternoon and Calmar Lutheran church. Mrs. Erland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hove, was born near Ridgeway, July 6, 1905. On March 20, 1938, she was married to Arnold Erland of near Conover, and lived in that vicinity since. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Helene, 7 and Ellen 5; her mother Mrs. Helena Hove; two brothers, Julian and Eugene, four sisters, Gertrude, Minneapolis; Marjorie and Mrs. Frank Barth, Decorah, and Mrs. Ole Hendrickson, Jr., of Ossian. Her father preceded her in death a number of years ago.
