Mrs. Lena Anderson
Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Anderson, who passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. C. F. Anderson in Minot, N. D., Sunday July 23, were held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Lincoln Lutheran church. The pastor, Rev. Quill officiated and interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Helge Aaker, C. T. Trytten, Ole Rue, Leonard Wemark and Lloyd and George Bakken.
Mrs. Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Aaker, was born at Ridgeway Sept. 5, 1869. She was united in marriage to Ole A. Anderson at Ridgeway in 1895 and lived here until 1912, then moving to Decorah where Mr. Anderson died in 1915. She made her home in Decorah for 8 more years and then moved to Minot, N. D., where she lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Anderson. She leaves to mourn her departure one son, D. A. Anderson of Kearney, Nebr., her daughter, Mrs. C. F. Anderson of Minot, two brothers, C. D. Aaker of Minot, N. D., and J. P. Aaker of Velva, N. D., and one granddaughter.
