Services held for Margaret M. Kolar

Funeral services for Margaret M. Kolar, 83, of Calmar were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 1997, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar. Rev. Robert Hirsch officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery with French Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She died January 31, 1997, at Oneota Riverview Care Facility in Decorah after a long illness.

Margaret Schneberger was born November 4, 1913, in Calmar, the daughter of John and Anna (Kuhn) Schneberger. She attended Calmar Parochial School.

She was united in marriage on September 8, 1947, to William Kolar at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

She spent her entire life in the Calmar area and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, twin Marie Manderfield of Decorah; and Agnes Vachta of Protovin.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and four brothers, William, Alf, Matt, and Hugo, who died in infancy.
