Genevieve Horton services held today

Funeral services for Genevieve Horton, formerly of Calmar, will be held today, Wednesday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar with Rev. Donald Hawes officiating. Interment will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Church Cemetery. French Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Genevieve, 99, died Friday, October 5, 2001 at the Kahl Nursing Home in Davenport following a lengthy illness.

She is survived by four daughters: Mary Lu Johnson of Bettendorf, Ruth Lorenz of East Palm Desert, CA, Helen Russett of Sun City Center, FL, and Anne Lorenz of Covina, CA; two sons: Vincent of Bartlett, IL and Robert of Iverness, FL; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
