Raymond was baptized and confirmed at the Glenwood Lutheran Church. He attended the Sheggrud country school through the seventh grade. Among them was Tony Guzman who became good friends and a fellow music lover. Raymond had a large garden for several years; selling his produce at the Farmer’s Market. Ray enjoyed giving away his extra produce. Years ago he could be found at the local softball field.
