George Eddie Bigler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bigler, passed away at his home in Pleasant twp., yesterday, Oct. 20, 1931, at 12:40 p.m. He was taken ill July 18th, and suffered of a tumor, which finally affected his lungs and caused his death at the age of 24 years, two months and 20 days. The death of this fine young man brings much sorrow to his family and friends. He was born in Clayton county, June 22, 1907, was baptized July 8, 1908, and was confirmed Dec. 3, 1922, in St. John's Lutheran church at Locust, of which he was a faithful member. He is survived by his father, Ernest Bigler, and the following brothers, Elmer, Lester, Harvey, Roy and Walter. His mother died two years ago and one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
