John L. Bergeson Passes

John L. Bergeson, a former resident of near Hesper, passed away on Friday morning. He suffered an injury to one of his feet last spring, which gave him more or less trouble since, and recently gangrene set in, which caused his death. The deceased was born in Illinois and was 67 years, 9 months and 2 days old when death claimed him. He had been a resident of Winneshiek for many years. He was unmarried. The funeral services were held Sunday from the Springwater Church.
