Pearl R. Goetsch, age 100, of Decorah, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Aase Haugen Home Chapel in Decorah by Rev. Steven M. Jacobsen, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is in charge of the arrangements.

Pearl Rose Goetsch was born April 17, 1906 in Dexter, Minnesota, the daughter of Samuel David and Hannah (Buhs) Goetsch.

She married Lucius J. Radtke and he preceded her in death. Pearl had formerly worked at the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah. She spent many hours quilting and embroidering and shared her work with her family. Another favorite pastime of hers was walking. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Decorah.

Pearl died at the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the age of 100 years.

Survivors include a son, Derald Radtke, and his wife Barbara, of Camano Island, Washington and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kaye Richcreek; a son, Dean Radtke on January 15, 2007; two brothers, David Fred Goetsch and Jesse Frederick Goetsch; five sisters, Ruby Nina Goetsch, Hazel Grace Anderson, Mayme Geneveive Goetsch, Lillian Marguerite Hallahan, and Elnora Elavon Barthelme.
