Lyle Letchford Bollman
Lyle Letchford Bollman, son of Sherman and Edna Bollman, was born October 8, 1904, at the family home one mile north of Frankville. He died January 22, 1963 at the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.
Lyle attended the Frankville grade school and the Decorah high school from which he was graduated in 1923. Most of his life was spent farming on the family farm one mile north of Frankville.
On October 2, 1937 he married Marjorie Healey at Dubuque.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Marjorie; one daughter, Ruth Ann of Decorah; 5 sons, Ronald of Monona, Gary of Formosa, who is in the U. S. Army, Bruce of Dubuque, Neil and Robert of Decorah; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Bollman Drew of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Lyle Bollman attended the Presbyterian Church at Frankville and the Sunday School of that church. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Decorah. He served on the Frankville school board for a number of years and also served on the board of directors of the Frankville Cheese Factory.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter T. Martin in charge of the services. Burial was in the Frankville cemetery.

LYLE BOLLMAN DIES SUDDENLY
Lyle Bollman, 58, of Decorah, formerly of Frankville, died Tuesday afternoon at Community Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bollman was driving on Highway 51 at the horse-shoe bend when he suffered a stroke. He was brought to the hospital where he died.
Funeral services are pending at the Schutte Funeral Home. The Bollmans moved from the Frankville area about 2 weeks ago to Decorah
