Funeral services for Vincent Bullerman, age 77, of Calmar, Iowa were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 19 at St. Aloysius Church, Calmar, Iowa with the Rev. Donald Hawes as celebrant and the Rev. Robert Hirsch as concelebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery with arrangements by French Funeral Home in Calmar, Iowa. Casket bearers were grandsons Cory Bullerman, Shane Tieskotter, Dustin Tieskotter, Mike Matt, Brian Matt, and Kris Gordon.

Vincent "Vinnie" Bullerman was born September 19, 1920 in rural Calmar, Iowa to Joseph and Catherine (Timp) Bullerman. He obtained his education at St. Aloysius School. On June 11, 1946 he married Leona Winter at St. Like's Catholic Church in St. Lucas, Iowa. Vincent farmed south of Calmar until retiring in 1982 when they moved to Calmar. He was a member of St. Aloysius Church and the South Winn Golf and Country Club.

Vincent died of cancer Wednesday, September 16, 1998 at his home in Calmar, Iowa. Vinnie was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Angela Zweibohmer, and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Leona; 4 children, Leon (Jane) Bullerman of Decorah, Iowa, Eileen (Delbert) Matt of Marion, Iowa, Marlene (Fred) Gordon of Dorchester, Iowa and Jan (Steve) Tieskotter of Manchester, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 2 brothers Raymond Bullerman of Decorah, Iowa and Leonard Bullerman of Calmar, Iowa; and 2 sisters, Kathryn Uhlenhake and Helen Bullerman, both of Ossian, Iowa.
