Irene M.(Buchheit) Huinker, 76, of McGregor, Iowa died last Wednesday, March 15, 1989 in the Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She was born April 12, 1912. Services were Saturday, March 18, 1989 in St.Mary's Catholic Church, McGregor. Interment was in the Holy Name Cemetery, West Union, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Victor; three sons, James of Ringwood, Illinois, Jerome of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Eldon of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; two brothers, Hubert Buchheit of Decorah, Iowa and Lawrence Buchheit of Festina, Iowa; two sisters, Emma Kuennen of Lawler, Iowa and Freda Einck of Decorah; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
