Here is the Obituary for Marion: Marion Wisland, 14 May, 1971, Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hesper Lutheran church for Mrs. Marion Wisland, 47, who died Friday evening at St. Mary's hospital in Rochester following a lingering illness. The Rev. Virtus Stoffregen officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The former Marian Welch, she was born on a farm near Mabel, September 10, 1923, the daughter of Myron and Emma Welch. She was a graduate of Mabel High School. Survivors are six sons; Barry, Austin; Dennis, Mabel; Randy, Scott, Bobby and Mark at Home; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Sharon) Vick, Mabel; Betty, at home; her parents, Mabel, three grandchildren, and one brother Donald Welch, Mabel. She was preceded in death by a sister. The Mengis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
