Harry Linderbaum, former state mat champion, died at Iowa City June 15, death being caused by a cerebral hemorrhage. He had been in ill health about nine months.

Funeral services were held on Thursday in the Cresco Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Ahrens in charge. Burial was in Oaklawn cemetery.

Harry Linderbaum was born October 10, 1924, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Linderbaum. He leaves his parents; three brothers, Arno of Cresco, Elmer of Ridgeway and Harold of Cresco; two sisters, Mrs. Murl Gobin of Lime Springs and Mabel of Cresco.
