Celebration of the life lived by Dominic Lee Horns.
Dominic Lee Horns was born on June 26, 2001. He came into this world with big and brown eyes that showed his true character. Gentle, soft, loving, and mischievous. Once Dominic learned to talk he was rarely silent. He once said "I have to talk so much because Lennon is so quiet." Those words of truth coming from a then 3 year old boy. Dominic had many hobbies. He loved to watch movies, ride bike, put live toads in his pockets, dig in the dirt, tell jokes, dance like a rock star, play in any sort of water, build things, tear things apart, and try to make broken toys work again. Dominic had dreams of growing up to be an engineer and build "things." He was always extra generous with his love and affection, and always tried to make everyone smile and laugh by often acting like a clown or comedian. Dominic was always the performer. Demanding that all eyes and cameras were on him. Even little moments were "TA-DA" worthy in his eyes. Dominic was an excellent big brother. He would help Lennon and Lavender with things that they could not do on their own, and was always quick to tell on them if they were doing something that they should not have been. He loved to play outside with Lennon and explore the yard and the treasures that they found in the dirt, and stay awake at night whispering secrets to each other from their bunk beds. Dominic also loved to snuggle with Lavender and sit and watch movies with her until they had to be dragged away and made to go to sleep. He would often lure Lavender to watch movies with him by bribing her with promises of candy or bubblegum if she would follow. In his short 8 years, Dominic touched the lives of many people. He will be loved and remembered until we meet him again.
Dominic was preceded in death by his sister Savannah Marie-Rose Horns, who was born October 6, 1999 and died October 7, 1999 of natural causes.
