Dianne Overland Dies In Colorado

The funeral service for Dianne E. Overland, who died September 12 at Pueblo, Colorado, was held September 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Huron, South Dakota. The Rev. Ralph Johnshoy officiated. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery at Huron.

The daughter of Ernest and Shirley Huebner Overland, formerly of Postville, was born September 28, 1943 at Joliet, Illinois. She moved to Huron with her parents in 1956, graduated from Huron High School and Huron College. She taught school at Hastings, Nebraska and worked on her master's degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She was employed by Good Will Industries and the Omaha Metropolitan Transit Company.

Survivors include her parents and sisters, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Peterson, Frazier Park, California; Mrs. Cal (Debra) Verhoek, Brookings, South Dakota and Pam Cheek, Huron, South Dakota; a niece and a nephew; her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Huebner of Postville and Mrs. E. J. Overland of Decorah. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, E. J. Overland.
