Invitations are out for the wedding of Miss Emma Koenig and Richard Thorgeson of Ambrose, N. D.

On March 29, 1917, a very pretty wedding took place at the Reformed church when Miss Emma Koenig of Burr Oak became the bride of Richard Thorgeson of Ambrose, N. D. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ulrich in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The church was beautifully decorated in pink and white. At precisely 12 o’clock the bridal party marched in to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Amy Winters. The bride was attended by her sister Miss Eda Koenig and Miss Anna Peterson, and the groom by Fred Bergman and Fritz Koenig. Miss Ruby Koenig was ring bearer and flower maid. The bride was beautifully dressed in white crepe de chine over white messaline, and carried pink and white roses. The bridesmaids carried pink and white carnations. After congratulations they proceeded to the I. O. O. F. hall which was decorated in pink and white, and a sumptuous dinner was served to more than one hundred guests. The young couple received many beautiful presents. The reception continued during the afternoon and evening. Supper was served at six and at midnight. The young couple expect to leave next week for their home at Ambrose, N. D., and will take with them the best wishes of a host of friends for success and happiness.
