Lansing – Timp Marriage 1916

Married at Ossian.
At Ossian on Monday morning last, at 8 o’clock at St. Francis de Sales church, Rev. M. I. Thiltgen, D. D., performing the ceremony, occurred the marriage of Miss Irene Finnegan, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Finnegan and Mr. Frank Schweinefus, son of Mr. Henry Schweinhefus{sic}.
At 9 o’clock at the same church occurred the marriage of Miss Elizabeth Timp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Timp and Mr. John Lansing, of Festina. Rev. W.{?}. Kremer, of Calmar, a cousin of the groom performed the ceremony.

On Tuesday at nine o’clock, Rev. Cremer of Calmar officiating, occurred the marriage of Elizabeth Timp to John Lansing. Fredoline Timp, sister of the bride, and Joe Lansing, brother of the groom, attended at the ceremony. After the wedding a large reception was held at the bride’s home at which about three hundred people were present. The bridal couple will live in Festina, where Mr. Lansing has established a new general merchandise store.
