Deane-Gunderson.
March 27th, 1920, at Mason City, Iowa, occurred the marriage of Miss Hazel M. Gunderson to Mr. William H. Deane, Jr.
The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Gunderson of this city. After finishing her education in the public schools here she attended the Indianapolis Conservatory of Music from which institution she graduated in 1917, being a highly accomplished musician. Since this time she has devoted her life to her music, playing a large part of the time with different musical organizations. She has made Calmar her home all her life and has many friends who will join us in wishing her and her husband the blessings of life.—Calmar Courier.
The groom who is mentioned in the above notice is a son of W. H. Deane, Sr., of this city, and was born and reared in Cresco. He is a very popular young man and is the leader and manager of the Deane Jazz Orchestra, of Cresco, and during the recent war he served in the U. S. Navy, playing in concert bands under the baton of Sousa and other eminent bandmasters.
