HYMENEAL.
With the very best intentions, and, we may add, with the consent of near and dear relatives, two young men invaded Decorah homes on Tuesday and took therefrom two of Decorah’s most dependable daughters. It wasn’t because these young men saw these daughters first, but because they recognized in them qualities that they felt sure would contribute toward happiness, contentment and all the other good things that make the journey on the sea of matrimony the best journey on which high minded, right living young people can embark.
--
The first of these two events occurred Tuesday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Larson when their daughter Mabel became the bride of Prof. Knut P. B. Reishus. The ceremony was performed by Rev. I. B. Torrison in the presence of a small company of relatives and friends, and Prof. and Mrs. Reishus departed by automobile for Cresco where they took the train for the north and thence to Caledonia where Prof. Reishus is superintendent of the city schools. The bride has grown to young womanhood in Decorah and is beloved by many. Prof. Reishus is a graduate of Luther College, a young man of ability and high character.
