HYMENEAL.
On Tuesday evening, the 22d inst., at six o’clock, Miss Charlotte Evelyn Christen, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Christen, became the bride of Mr. Geoffrey Wheaton Welch. The ceremony was performed by Dr. H. H. Green in the presence of a small company of relatives at the family home on Maple avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Welch departed yesterday morning on their honeymoon, a portion of which will be spent at the groom’s parental home at Fergus Falls., Minn.
The bride is one of Decorah’s most popular daughters, and brings to the union qualities of mind and heart that betoken a happy future. The groom has been associated with the Interstate Power Company for several years, and because of his capability has been entrusted with responsible affairs. That Mr. and Mrs. Welch will continue to make their home in Decorah is gratifying to a host of friends and acquaintances who join in felicitations upon their marriage.
