On Wednesday, May 27, 1914, occurred the marriage of Clifford M. Reed to Miss Maude Pierce. This young couple somewhat surprised their friends by going to Decorah with Mr. Kimball in his auto, accompanied by Miss Florence Reed, sister of the groom, and Philip Seelye, who witnessed the ceremony, which was performed at the M. E. parsonagee{sic} by Rev. Lackland at 2 p. m. The young couple remained in Decorah until the next day when they went to La Crosse and on Friday evening they returned home. This young couple is well known and their many friends wish them a long and happy married life.
