MARRIED.
At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown, of Orleans twp., on Wednesday afternoon Jan. 16, in the presence of the family members of the contracting parties, Miss Luella Brown and Mr. Elmer Christen, son of Samuel Christen, were united in marriage by Rev. G. M. Shoemaker.
The bride was becomingly attired in a modest gown of gray silk, and was unattended. The groom was also unattended and gave the responses in clear and manly tones.
Both of these excellent young people are well known to a large circle of friends among whom they have both resided from birth.
The bride is a modest and retiring disposition, a jewel of rare value and the husband of her choice is a fine type of character, a young man of excellent habits and respected by all who know him.
Mr. and Mrs. Christen have begun their married life on the farm where the former has lived all his life in Bluffton twp. Their many friends wish for this fine young couple a long and prosperous journey through life together.
