Monday, February 28th, at the Norwegian parsonage in Waukon, occurred the marriage of Rulodf{?} H. Ruen from this place and Marie Nelson from Nasset, Rev. Fjelde officiating. The groom is a prosperous young farmer. From a little boy he has grown up in our community, honored by all. The bride is almost a stranger to us but judging from what the groom is worthy of, she is a good and noble woman, highly esteemed. They went to housekeeping at once on his farm, a half mile north of Washington Prairie. Congratulations are extended to them by their many friends.
