A delightful home wedding occurred on Tuesday afternoon at 3:15, Second Avenue east. The occasion was the marriage of Miss Alma M. Larsen to Mr. Wm. T. Blackmarr. Promptly at 3 o’clock the young people took their places in the front parlor and then the impressive ceremony that united them in holy wedlock was spoken by Rev. E. M. Jeffers, of the Baptist church. The bride was accompanied by her intimate friend, Miss Rose Webber, who acted as bride’s maid, and Mr. H. Patterson was in company with the groom, acting as best man.
The bride looked very attractive in white silk landsdown made in the princess style with lace trimming, and she will receive the congratulations of a wide circle of friends for she has held a position with the Dakota Central telephone company for a long time. The groom is a fine young business man, who holds an excellent position with the Milwaukee railroad company.
After congratulations the company sat down to a three course dinner prepared by Mrs. Blackmarr. The groom’s parents came from Decorah, Iowa, in the early winter and now that the wedding event is over they will return to Iowa as soon as the young people are well settled in their new home. The groom has rented and beautifully furnished one of the new cottages erected last season on Second avenue east by J. B. Doty, and there they will be at home to their friends after March 15th.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways.
