The bans for the marriage of Jos. Franzen and Miss Kate Boyer and Ben Elpert and Miss Tracy Kessler were announced from the pulpit of the Catholic church Sunday.

The marriage of Miss Kate Boyer of this city and Mr. Jos. Franzen of St. Lucas took place from the Catholic church Wednesday morning at 9:30, Rev. Father Marshalek officiating. A reception was held at the bride’s home, at which only immediate relatives and friends were present. The bride is a highly accomplished young lady, being the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyer. The groom is a prosperous young farmer of Fayette county. Mr. and Mrs. Franzen have a host of friends who extend their best wishes to them in their new home.
