On Wednesday evening at eight o’clock in the present of a number of relatives and friends, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. G. W. Daskam occurred the marriage o her daughter Edith of{sic} Bert Yates.
Rev. Gammons of Cresco officiating. The bride was attended by Rilla Yates, sister of the groom. Walter Daskam, brother of the bride, being best man. The bride and groom received many beautiful and useful presents. A reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yates, on Friday evening. The young couple will go to housekeeping in Canton soon. The best wishes of their many friends go with them to their new home.
