Married Yesterday Afternoon.
The marriage of John Peder Alstad and Miss Nellie Aunan occurred yesterday afternoon at four o’clock at the home of the groom’s parents in the presence of about two hundred friends and relatives, Rev. O. E. Schmidt officiating. The ceremony was followed by the wedding supper and in the evening the Merchants’ Band, of which the groom is a member, serenades the newly married couple. The bride has been in American about two years and has won the respect of numerous acquaintances. The groom is a value assistant in the Gjevre grocery and a young man of excellent character.
