The marriage of Miss Mabel Nash to Clement Headington took place at high noon on Wednesday, the 10th. About 50 guests were invited, and of course large preparations were made for the event, but the hard storm of Tuesday, and the great quantity of snow that fell, caused the roads to be in such condition that travel was impossible for any long distance in the first half of the day, and short distance trips were only done with a deal of shoveling. Relatives from Decorah did their best, but were obliged to return after a short distance out of town. Those friends living near succeeded in getting to the Nash home, and Rev. Densmore also, and the ceremony was consummated just the same, but the last of the entire invitee company was very much to be regretted. It is not often that sympathy is needed at a wedding, but very many in Burr Oak did feel sorry that the circumstances were not different. Mr. and Mrs. Headington will occupy the Jacob Headington farm, and James Headington who has been living there since Pa and Ma Headington left, goes back on his own farm. Good wishes in good measure are the portion of the newly wedded couple
