Last Sunday in the St. Wenceslaus church the following wedding announcements were made: Miss Tillie Kubish of Fort Atkinson to Louis Novak of this place, and Miss Mary Shema to Charles Jarosh, both of this place.

At the Catholic church here yesterday occurred the marriage of Miss Tillie Kubish of this place to Mr. Louis Novak of Conover, Rev. Marshaiek performing the ceremony. Miss Kubish is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Kubish and has been for several years past a teacher in the public schools of Winneshiek county, and is well known in this locality. Mr. Novak is a young farmer residing in Calmar township, where he is very favorably known. After the ceremony the closest relatives and friends of both parties gathered at the home of the bride’s parents, where a beautiful wedding dinner was served. The young couple will make their home at Mahnomen, Minn., after April 1st.
