On Monday evening last at the home of the groom’s parents, Dr. Laur. Larsen officiating, occurred the marriage of Melvin L. Enger, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lauritz M. Enger, and Miss Mary Crawford, the daughter of Mrs. Henry Crawford. The groom is one of Decorah’s young men who after acquiring the best in education that Decorah public schools and Decorah Institute could give him further equipped himself by taking the engineering course at the Illinois state university and graduating with honors. The school two years ago recognized his ability by recalling him to become an instructor where he had formerly been a pupil. His bride resided in Decorah for several years but lately has been living in California. She has many friends here and throughout the county who will be glad to join the friends of her husband in hearty congratulations and good wishes.
